Parent Campaigns/ Elections
This is an opportunity for you to become a leader, without any previous experience. Training will be provided. Be creative, make a poster, talk to the parents at your center and let the staff know you are running for office. We guarantee that new and wonderful opportunities await you! Center campaigns are held the third week in September.
Parent Meetings are held once a month at your center. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend to learn about the services offered, the volunteer opportunities, to be a part of decision making and to participate in classroom activity. Come and gain an experience that you will never forget.
The Policy Committee consists of elected representatives from each center; the Chairperson,Vice-Chairperson and Recording Secretary who work in partnership with key management staff. Meetings are held at the first Friday of the month at the Administrative Office, 9 a.m. Attending Officers receive a "Parent Reimbursement" for each meeting attended.
